in the moment i'm rewriting the whole code for itineraries. So CaTrain 2.3 should bring some new nice features...

Did you wish to give me some more ideas, what itineraries should be possible to do? Just write to the forum...

The first thing i want to add would be called 'alternate routing' or something like that. So - if one section is blocked the train should use another defined route... That would be perfect for train stations...
